HISTORY OF MALCOLM KIRKE
My great-grandfather William Henry Kirk (1809-1872) described himself as "artist and woolsorter", here are photos of him and his wife Mary probably taken about 1870My grandfather Augustus Kirke (1838-1923) married Clara Weston (1842-1877|). He owned a successful hat business in Leicester. Clara died shortly after the birth of her second child, Iva, and caring for the two young children fell to the lot of Augustus' sister Olivia.
