The Mouse that Came Back

Fify enjoying a piece of cheese

Yesterday Claude’s mouse – now named “Fify” – escaped. Claude didn’t seem too worried about it. Later in the day he heard a scratching noise under the bookcase by the front door, and there it was again. As before, it allowed Claude to catch it and I gave it a piece of cheese as a reward for returning. Here is a photo of it eating the cheese, which it liked very much. Claude was wondering if he should let it go wandering again, but I advised him against that as there is poisoned rice in some places around the house, e.g. in my piano.
