Morning housework

Our dining table was getting very worn-looking and Rose decided to polish it.  That scrubber she is using is a slice of coconut shell, and the fibres make excellent polishing brushes for floor or furniture.  It will last for a long time and costs us nothing as we have cocos in our yard.

P.S.  Here's an interesting little article - could be expanded I'm sure ...

That's interesting about the coconut shell being used as a cleaning tool.

Your wife looks very relaxed and lovely as she polishes the table. Do you often have her clean house in the nude? Occasionally I am given instructions to clean our bedroom in this state, but the rest of the house the window treatments don't afford quite enough privacy.

Serenity - I didn't ask Rose to polish the table naked, she just started doing it before she got dressed. We sleep naked and she just hadn't bothered to put any clothes on.

I would never think to use coconut shells for polishing. This may be due to the fact that I have never lived in a place where coconuts grow. Still, you learn something new everyday... So it buffs/polishes without scratching or damaging?

Zelda - yes it polishes without scratches if you maintain it right. I have included a photo of the scrubber turned upside down, the hard inner shell occasionally needs reducing, I take pliers and break off little bits, but don't remove the whole inner shell as the scrubber will become too squishy.
